
Stephanie Montealegre
Research Assistant
Stephanie Montealegre is an undergraduate Research Assistant in the Human Nature Lab while completing her bachelor's in Anthropology, with a concentration in Medical Anthropology and Global Health, and an Advanced Spanish certificate. She has experience in qualitative research focusing on mental illness disclosure in the workplace in Latine communities as well as exercise as an intervention for substance use. Stephanie's research interests center around health initiatives in marginalized communities, specifically Spanish speaking communities. She is also interested in studying generational trauma through collective memory and the intersections between structural violence and mental health in Latin America.
