Shivkumar Vishnempet Shridhar

Shivkumar is a Ph.D. student in Biomedical Engineering. His advisor is Nicholas Christakis. He is interested in exploring gut commensal and disease transmission in social networks. In particular, he is interested in applying statistical and machine learning methods in conjunction with graph theory to understand the interaction of microbes in the social fabric. Apart from surfing in science, Shiv also enjoys playing soccer, badminton, and reading about origins of the universe.
