Samy Galvez
Assistant Program Manager
As of 2024, Samy Galvez, MPH, is the Assistant Director of the Gill-Lebovic Center for Community Health in the Caribbean and Latin America at the Milken Institute School of Public Health of The George Washington University. Samy was the Assistant Program Manager at HNL. His work currently focuses on the implementation of our research projects in Honduras, as well as project leading, training, and management. He received his MPH from Columbia University in 2018, and his BS in Neuroscience from Brigham Young University in 2015. Before joining HNL, Samy had worked in evaluating the performance of Healthcare IT solutions. Samy has also worked in program evaluation for NGOs that address child homelessness in the Dominican Republic, as well as in implementation of rural clinics in the Guatemalan highlands. In his free time, Samy enjoys podcasts, running, exercising at the gym, and traveling.
