Rennie Negron

Associate Director for Research

As of 2024, Rennie Negron is the Administrative Director of the Institute for Health Equity Research at Mount Sinai. Rennie received her Master’s in Public Health with a Global Health emphasis from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, where she then worked as program manager in the Department for Population Health Science and Policy in research aimed at improving health outcomes and reducing health disparities in underserved New York City communities. She joined YINS in December 2014 and oversaw the implementation of several research projects for the Human Nature Lab, including the Honduras Social Networks Randomized Trial and the Microbiome and Social Networks study taking place in Copan, Honduras. Her expertise focuses on design and implementation of large-scale research operations strategies, health survey development, and community-engaged research.
