Rafael Cárdenas Heredia is a Postgraduate Associate in the Human Nature Lab. Rafael, a Colombian-Brazilian researcher, earned his Bachelor's degree in Biology, with a concentration in Biotechnology and a minor in Medical Science, at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Cali, Colombia. Taking a gap year from his Master's in Computational Science at the University of Amsterdam, he has joined the lab to delve into his primary interests: understanding complex socio-biological systems and how insights from their study can be applied to real-world solutions. When not at the lab, Rafael can be found indulging his curiosity for maps, languages and the history of political ideas.
