James Williams
PhD Student
James Williams is a Fulbright student from New Zealand who earned his PhD in Applied Mathematics while working at the Human Nature Lab, after completing his BSc (Hons) in his home country. He worked with Nicholas Christakis on several projects such as real time contagion detection in social networks and food analysis through image recognition and machine learning. James also provided network science consulting, working with students and faculty in other departments and offering technical advice on how to build, manipulate, and analyse graphs and networks. He also has experience in network algorithms, statistical modelling, and estimation theory. He is now back in New Zealand running his own consulting company, Kiwi Analytics, Ltd.
