
Ethan Hsu
Research Assistant
Ethan Hsu is an undergraduate at Yale University pursuing a double major in Chemistry and Ethics, Politics, and Economics. He currently works as a Research Assistant in the Human Nature Lab, where he analyzes social network data and human flourishing across rural Honduran villages. His research experience spans multiple fields, including fiscal policy analysis at The Budget Lab, wet lab infectious disease research, and cost-effectiveness studies on integrated HIV and hypertension care in Uganda. Ethan has co-authored publications on the environmental and energy implications of AI competition and data center expansion, presenting findings to government officials and industry leaders. His research interests center around the intersection of health, policy, and technology, with a particular focus on understanding how economic and social factors shape health outcomes in underserved communities.
