Bianka Valentin
Research Coordinator
Bianka Valentin came to the Human Nature Lab as a Research Coordinator after receiving a bachelor’s in Psychology and a certificate in Women’s and Gender Studies from Florida International University. She has been in her position for 2 years, coordinating and implementing research activities and data processes for grant-funded research projects on the social and biological determinants of human behavior, social networks, and public health between the Human Nature Lab and the Honduras-based research team. With the fieldwork experience that she has gained through the Human Nature Lab, Bianka's research interests are towards the social and cultural determinants of global behavioral health, including the implementation and dissemination of research among understudied populations. Specifically, she is interested in health outcomes related to women’s health and their social networks, including the developmental outcomes of their children and women’s health equity and knowledge.
