Shiv Sunil
Shiv Sunil is an undergraduate research assistant at YINS working with James Williams and Derek Stafford on analyzing social network parameters from Honduran villages to identify the role of cooperation in determining network structure. He is a member of the Yale College Class of 2017 who is majoring in mathematics and is also interested in physics and chemistry. He has worked in the Jonathan Edwards buttery, a student-run kitchen at Yale, for a year, and has worked on feature extraction research at Harvard for a summer. He likes to instill a love of math and problem-solving into others, embark on scenic bike rides, attend symphony concerts, admire animated films, and visit any of Ali Baba's Fusion's fine eateries. At times he wishes that he were a synesthete like his sister.
