Derek Feng

Derek Feng is a 4th year Ph.D student in the Department of Statistics at Yale University, advised by Harrison Zhou. Together with Nicholas and Harry, he seeks to bridge the gap between the theory and application of network analysis. In particular, he is interested in extending the analysis of social networks to incorporate different types of relationships, and providing a concrete theoretical framework for doing so. When not daydreaming of sheep in network configuration, he can be found either captaining the Yale Badminton team or snuggled in an armchair with a trusty science fiction novel for good company.
